Interested in Stamps?
You have come to the right place! Our Stamp Club is friendly, and welcomes all visitors!
Our club's goal is to promote friendly relations and fellowship between stamp collectors. We enjoy exchanging stamp news. We provide a meeting ground for all members to acquire and dispose of stamps and related material. We promote the stamp collecting hobby through outreach. We sponsor several stamp shows each year.
Our membership list includes individuals from Lane County Oregon, but we also have members who reside outside of the county and a few from outside of the state of Oregon. We are an affiliate of the American Philatelic Society.
Meetings are held two times a month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday except for November and December when the meeting on the 4th Wednesday is not scheduled.
Membership dues are only $15/year.
The Application for membership is available here, and can be brought to a meeting, or mailed.
Meetings are held at Saint Jude’s Catholic Church, 43rd Avenue and Willamette Street in Eugene (See Map).
Doors open at 7:00 p.m. for trading, bid board, and socializing. The business meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. and is followed by a presentation of philatelic subjects, or a buy, sell, or trade night.
Club auctions are held on the 4th Wednesday of February, May, and August after the business meeting.
GESS sponsors two stamp shows a year (March, September 15, 2018), and members are encouraged to exhibit their stamp interests. For details, see the Willamette Valley Stamp Exhibition page.
